Acquisition of Buda Woodworks
October 16, 2019

ElmCreek Partners ("ECP"), a Dallas, TX-based private investment firm, is pleased to announce that it successfully sponsored the acquisition of Buda Woodworks, LLC (“BWW”) in a change of control transaction. Based in Buda, TX, BWW is a premium manufacturer of custom architectural millwork for commercial developers and their tenants, primarily serving the Central Texas region. As a part of the transaction, ECP partnered with a long-time building products executive, J.J. Barto who will work alongside the company's leadership team in its transition and growth into new geographic markets and service lines. He said, "Buda's focus on best in class product, process and delivery provides an excellent opportunity for growth. I look forward to working with the great team in place at Buda." ECP's funding for the transaction was provided by LegacyTexas Bank and a private family office. Elm Creek Partners is actively looking for add-on acquisitions in the custom architectural millwork, millwork installation, and related building product segments. BWW was advised by Focus Strategies. Larry Hester at Focus Strategies said, "We are very pleased to connect a highly successful client like Buda Woodworks with a quality investment platform such as Elm Creek Partners to focus on the vibrant regional market and beyond for high-end architectural millwork."
